recently posted cool green and blue photos of agaves that live and breathe in the Mexican desert. I thought I’d collect my own photo diary of the last week, in lieu of one my usual rants.
I celebrated a friend’s birthday at a gorgeous boutique hotel. We chose it for the open terrace and view of the city, which was covered by awnings because it rained the whole evening, of course! Sod’s law…
Toast loves a fluffy jumper, it inspires her to make biscuits on me, which slowly destroys all my jumpers by pulling at the threads one by one, but I only mind a little.
I didn’t do hot yoga, I don’t even do yoga… But I loved this colour contrast next to the burger place I went to with colleagues this week!
My local café is perfect because the food is made well and the seats are comfy, plus they don’t hurry me out even though I’m there on my laptop.
We went to a real estate broker’s office (Art Deco entrance below) to sort out some property paperwork.
I had this carb and butter-heavy dinner with a girlfriend, calamares, gnocci, and raviolis.
I also did a little work! I’ve been pulling 12h days recently but this is just seasonal, and I prefer these seasons than when it’s too quiet. Don’t you?
Do let me know what you did this week in the comments! And subscribe to see more of this, live from Mexico City since 2011.
I love these visuals. I'm glad your full days of work are fulfilling, and that you are making a move, and that you have time with friends. I enjoy your photos, but honestly, I also really enjoy your "rants." Have a good week, Nadine!
Love the pics and the walkthrough. What's going on in Mexico right now is scary stuff. When people put down the pen to pick up the sword in an attempt to be heard, I'm always struck. Stay safe! Thank you for the invitation to share. I spent 21 days in Nicaragua and learned a ton while I was building a kitchen there. Really impacted my life in so many ways.
